I&A Engineer

STI Engineering Srl, an international engineering company with a presence in 8 different countries and over thirty years of experience providing multidisciplinary design and consultancy services in the Civil, Industrial, Energy&Chemicals, and Marine sectors, is currently seeking a PLC Programmer. This role reports directly to the Discipline Leader and involves working within a young and dynamic team responsible for PLC software programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, and system integration. The responsibilities encompass all phases of project development, starting from the basic software programming and continuing through internal testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate should have a technical educational background, preferably in automation or mechatronics, possess strong organizational skills, good interpersonal abilities, proactiveness, problem-solving capabilities, and a good command of the English language. The role also requires the ability to read electrical diagrams, functional diagrams, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), along with expertise in developing PLC software and control interfaces for industrial machinery and automated systems based on specifications provided by clients. This work may involve one or more of the following architectures (Siemens, Rockwell, WinCC, Intouch, Ignition).
