Senior Electrical Engineer
STI Engineering srl, an international engineering company with a presence in 8 different countries and over thirty years of experience providing multidisciplinary design and consultancy services in the Civil, Industrial, Energy&Chemicals, and Marine sectors, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer:
The chosen resource will have the following responsibilities:
- Design of low/medium voltage installations
- MV distribution and MV/LV transformation electrical installations
- Low voltage distribution networks
- Calculation of voltage drop, short circuit current, grounding conductivity, ground insulation level;
Emergency/safety systems - Smoke/fire detection systems, EVAC, access control, CCTV, LAN networks
- Building Automation.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in technical/scientific disciplines
- Preferred experience of at least 5 years in the design of production, transformation and distribution systems, with committed electrical power above 5MW, developed in industrial and tertiary sectors
- Required knowledge of software such as AMPERE, CADELET, DIALUX (or equivalent), Autocad 2D, Revit, of computation software such as MOSAICO (or equivalent)
- Motivation and interest in deepening technical aspects
- Good aptitude for personal relationships.
- Profiles with previous working experience of at least 5 years in electrical design of industrial plants will be considered with preference
- Willingness to travel to Italy for short periods of time
- Native Italian speaker and preferable knowledge of English.
Work location and working hours:
Monday through Friday full-time
